  Starting Monday I felt myself getting down with something. Sleepy, a little achy, small sore throat. Didn’t think it was much of anything but a cold. But Tuesday to Thursday I was getting worse. High fevers, It hurt so bad to swallow, I was super achy and weak, I couldn’t sleep, I had the chills but I was sweating, terrible pounding headache.. just a mess. My mom looked at my throat and saw symptoms of either strep throat or tonsillitis, small cluttered red bumps on the roof of my mouth and on my uvula. One tonsil was enourmisly swollen and had white spots on it. Not to mention I broke out in hives all over my body. So we came here, the person at one of the desks we approached, male, very cocky and rude. The medical assistant was very kind, no issues with her. But the doctor wasn’t very helpful. She came in, asked what the issue was and we explained everything. She looked at my throat, put two q-tips in my throat for a throat culture to see if I had strep. I was tested negative. Although we are told the strep tests are about 80% accurate. So she tested me for the flu and mono. Both negative. When she said that she just gave me ibuprofen and that was it. There was clearly something wrong with me, I was in pain, everywhere. She didn’t bother to look at my hives to make sure they weren’t something else. She asked the same questions over and over again. It was a bit unprofessional and too reliable on machinery. We went to a different place the next day, 10 minutes in, the doctor said my throat looked terrible and that it WAS strep. Prescribed my antibiotics and said my hives were hives and to not take hot baths or showers and put benydryl gel on it with cool compresses. Before any of this we were doing everything, ibuprofen, hot tea, gargle with salt water, humidifiers, everything. Nothing was helping. I was not happy with the way my mom and I were treated at this place. After the doctor did her machine tests, she came in and acted as if there was nothing wrong with me. Not happy. Won’t come here again.

  The staff here are so bad that I've all together stopped being a patient of Christus St. Vincent. both urgent cares I've gone to have been anything BUT helpful and same with the hospital, the staff are SO rude it's as if no one ever taught them manors or the fact that they are providing customer service... which they have no idea of how to give. I have very bad blood pressure and I've felt like I'm going to get a stroke almost every time I've gone. The front desk is disgustingly rude in person and just as bad on the phone. I always keep myself composed and polite and yet the typical snobby teenager attitude doesnt seem to leave them even though their supposed to be professional when they come to work, SAME GOES FOR THE DOCTORS, Other than the ONLY good one Dr. Seywang.... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OF MONEY... because they'll burn all of your time and money up and give you worthless service. Try presbyterian, they are actually good compared to major city medical offices located around the country. CHRISTUS ST. VINCENT, when will you care about patients?
